Wichita Public Schools outlines policy on student walkouts and demonstrations

WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) – As high school students across Wichita have staged walkouts in protest of nationwide incidents involving U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), Wichita Public Schools is outlining its policy regarding the walkouts and demonstrations.

In a post on social media, the district said students can participate in such activities but may face consequences for unexcused absences.
