DC police release footage, offer $10K reward for info on Georgia Ave shooter

WASHINGTON, DC (7News) — The Metropolitan Police Department is seeking the public’s help to find the man responsible for a shooting in Northwest D.C.

On Saturday, Nov. 29, at approximately 4:45 a.m., a man was shot while approaching his car in the 3200 block of Georgia Avenue, Northwest.

When he got to the car, he found a stranger sitting in the driver’s seat. When he tried to get the stranger out of the car, the man shot him and fled on foot before police arrived. The victim was taken to a local hospital by D.C. Fire and EMS, where he was treated for non-life-threatening injuries…
