Former Orleans jail deputy caused inmate’s lung to collapse, records show

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) – Court records allege an Orleans Parish Sheriff’s Office deputy pushed an inmate so hard last month that it caused the man’s lung to collapse.

Clarence Clark, 40, was booked into the Orleans Justice Center last week on counts of second-degree battery and malfeasance in office.
