RIO RANCHO, N.M. — Castelion, a defense technology company specializing in advanced propulsion systems, has broken ground on a 1,000-acre manufacturing campus in Sandoval County known as Project Ranger, marking a major expansion of New Mexico’s defense and advanced manufacturing footprint.

The project represents a $150 million private investment and is expected to generate approximately $650 million in economic output over the next decade, while creating 300 high-wage jobs for New Mexicans. The campus will ultimately include 21 buildings, with the first facility scheduled for completion this summer and full production readiness anticipated by the end of 2026…
