Oregon City Home Engulfed in Flames, Clackamas Fire Department Responds with Swift Rescue of Family and Pets

A residential blaze in Oregon City prompted an urgent response from Clackamas Fire last Monday, bringing distress to a neighborhood and displacing a household near the juncture of Highway 213. The fire department’s social media account reported, “black smoke coming from the eaves on both floors” of a two-story home prompting an immediate upgrade to a first-alarm residential fire upon Truck 316’s arrival. The crew’s swift actions resulted in the safe evacuation of the occupants, along with two dogs and one cat, while an additional dog remained inside.

The initial incident swiftly escalated to a second alarm due to the extensive efforts required to fully tackle the fire. A coordinated response including BC303, BC302, E311, E313, E315, E317, E322, E309, E310, T316, HR305, R301, FM303, RH321, and support from AMR, PGE, NW Natural, Clackamas County Roads, and Oregon City Police ensured that the fire was brought under control with no reported injuries…
