TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – A local nonprofit addressing Tucson’s housing crisis has received a $50,000 grant to help build affordable housing units. Family Housing Resources has been named Bank of America’s 2025 Neighborhood Builder, which comes with the financial award.
The grant will help Family Housing Resources build 144 housing units on an empty lot. The City of Tucson says it needs 62,000 new units by 2045.
