Clark County commissioners vote to establish fee for all telephone customers to invest in 911 infrastructure

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — The Board of County Commissioners voted to establish a fee for all telephone customers in Clark County to invest in the digitization of the county’s 911 system.

The board voted unanimously to establish the fee and to create a 911 Emergency Response Advisory Committee to develop, maintain and annually review the county’s five-year master plan for 911 services.
