Advocate warns of trauma for child trafficking survivors, urges social media caution

(WPDE) — New data from the South Carolina Attorney General’s Office reveals child trafficking numbers, with 159 minors reported as victims in the state.

Of these cases, 141 involve sex trafficking. Shelbia Wiley, executive director of Engaging Minds Advocacy Group, highlighted the severe trauma experienced by survivors.
