Sherman Man Arrested for Damage to Vehicle in Altercation

A Sherman man faces a felony charge after he allegedly intentionally damaged a vehicle during an altercation at a residence in the village. Chautauqua County Sheriff’s deputies were called to the scene at about 2:30 PM Tuesday and, upon further investigation, discovered that 26-year-old Trevor Kneer allegedly caused more than $250 in damage to the vehicle. Trevor Kneer was taken into custody and transported to the Chautauqua County Jail for centralized arraignment on a charge of 3rd-degree criminal mischief.
