KALAMAZOO, Mich. — It’s going to snow again.
Again? Yes, again.
While that’s an important story, and there will actually be two doses of snow, the arrival of starkly colder temperatures is the lede.
The mercury will likely be around zero degrees, or even a little bit colder from daybreak Friday and beyond. Yikes!
- CHECK THIS OUT: Active winter weather keeps local autobody shops extra busy
Because it will be rather windy, 30 mph gusts or so, wind chills plummet to roughly -20 degrees (or colder). In this kind of weather, frostbite or hypothermia can happen in as little as 15 to 20 minutes.
Simply, you can’t be outside in this stuff, and neither can your pets…
