HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — First Stop will open an emergency warming center this weekend to provide a safe place for residents in need.
The center will open Friday at 5 p.m. and remain open until Tuesday at 9 a.m. at 206 Stokes St., Huntsville. First Stop is one of several warming centers opening as part of a coordinated effort with the City of Huntsville and community partners, including the Downtown Rescue Mission, The Livin’ Room, and the Salvation Army.
