LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Louisville Gas and Electric and Kentucky Utilities are taking new steps to keep customers informed during power outages.
According to a news release, starting this week, customers can receive automated text messages or phone calls when an outage is detected at their home or business, along with estimated restoration times and confirmation once power is restored.
