TENNESSEE — Police are searching for an armed and dangerous man believed to be responsible for a stabbing that occurred Wednesday night in Athens.
According to the Athens Police Department, 32-year-old David Rodriguez Cruz is wanted on a charge of attempted first-degree murder in connection with a stabbing reported at 711 Hamby Street, Lot 23. Authorities said the victim was transported to a hospital for treatment of their injuries. The victim’s condition has not been released.
Police said Rodriguez Cruz is believed to be traveling in a 2005 Toyota Highlander bearing a North Carolina license plate number LBK9152. Investigators do not believe he is currently in the immediate Athens area…
