FOXBORO, Mass. (WPRI) — Police are investigating after a stolen credit card was used to fraudulently buy nearly $12,000 worth of motor oil.
The investigation began on Dec. 27, when the Foxboro Police Department learned a local business had fulfilled two orders of motor oil totaling $11,826.21.
Investigators determined the credit card used to purchase the motor oil had been stolen from an out-of-state victim, according to police.
