Sacramento man dies after vehicle crossed median, hit him

SACRAMENTO, Calif. — A driver died Friday from injuries he suffered in a Sacramento crash the day before, during which the vehicle that hit him crossed a raised median, authorities said.

Jimmy Salgado, 38, of Sacramento, died from injuries he suffered in a crash Jan. 15 at Watt Avenue and Auburn Boulevard, according to Sacramento County Coroner’s Office records.
