TOLEDO, Ohio — New Horizons Baking Company will close its Toledo plant on March 17, resulting in the permanent layoff of 68 employees, according to a WARN notice sent to the state.
The company filed a Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act notice with the Ohio Department of Jobs and Family Services on January 16, announcing the closure of the facility at 1015 New York Ave. The closure is part of a strategy to “support long-term business efficiency, consolidate locations, and encourage strategic growth.”
