TOWN OF LOXAHATCHEE GROVES, Fla. (CBS12) — The Town of Loxahatchee Groves isn’t backing down in its battle with the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office, saying if law enforcement isn’t providing service, the town won’t pay.
In a 3-2 vote, the Loxahatchee Groves commission decided to continue weighing its options, including continuing nonpayment, ending the contract, or seeking a mutual termination agreement.
During a Tuesday meeting, The Town of Loxahatchee Groves said it would be withholding payment to PBSO due to services not being provided for the past two months.
