Man in custody after spraying bear spray in downtown Houston hotel lobby, HPD says

A man was taken into custody after spraying a hotel lobby with bear spray in downtown Houston on Tuesday, according to the Houston Police Department.

According to HPD Lt. Larry Crowson, officers responded to the scene at 6:30 p.m. at a hotel at 900 Rusk Street.

Police say that a man, described to be in his 60s or 70s, entered the lobby and started spraying bear spray. Furthermore, the man went up to a room on the 17th floor of the hotel and closed the door, HPD said…
