MILWAUKEE — With an extreme cold warning going into effect for all of Southeast Wisconsin starting midnight on January 23, multiple school districts have decided to close for the safety of staff and students.
- Hamilton High School will be virtual on January 23.
Students were not expected to report to Kenosha Unified Schools already due to a planned staff work day, but all extracurricular activities have now been cancelled. Racine Unified Schools also has a pre-planned “Professional Learning Day”.
Kohler Schools also had a previous closure for January 23 for “Records Day”, and Whitewater Unified Schools had “Teacher In-Service” days planned for January 22 and 23…
