Former Spokane Tribal official sentenced to $100,000 in restitution and 1 year in prison

Court documents show a federal judge sentenced Tawhnee Willow Colvin to 1 year in prison, 5 years of supervised release and more than $100,000 in restitution on Wednesday.

An Eastern Washington federal jury found Colvin guilty of embezzling more than $100,000 from the Spokane Tribe of Indians’ Department of Health and Human Services while working there as the Assistant Director.
