Several school districts receive ‘non-credible’ bomb threat

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Over a dozen school districts across Western New York were on high alert Wednesday after receiving a bomb threat by email, which was later deemed non-credible.

“Whether or not this person could actually do it, carry it out, or had intention of carrying it out, this is a serious matter,” said former Erie County District Attorney John Flynn.

“It is extremely dangerous because you have to treat each one of these threats as credible,” said Flynn. “This person is intending, from a threat standpoint, to intimidate, to cause fear in multiple school districts here to a lot of people, and that’s why you need to take it seriously.”…
