CORRY — Fire investigators are probing the cause of a massive fire Jan. 21 that gutted a large manufacturing building and took a large number of fire departments from throughout the region hours to knock down.
The fire at 9 Pennsylvania Ave., which housed Hensa, formerly Chase Manufacturing, continued to smolder Jan. 22, and the Corry Fire Department was called back to the site shortly before 7:30 a.m. to put out a reported rekindle. Corry Fire Chief Ryan Card said he expects his department will be at the site over the next couple of days dealing with hot spots and flare-ups in the rubble.
