Indiana – Cold air bites hard across northern Indiana this morning, rattling bare trees and pushing flags straight out. Side streets look calm, but the cold tightens quickly, setting the stage for a rough stretch of winter weather.
According to the National Weather Service in Northern Indiana, a Cold Weather Advisory is in effect Friday morning through early afternoon. Wind chills between 15 and 20 below zero are expected, cold enough to cause frostbite on exposed skin within 30 minutes. A prolonged period of sub-zero wind chills continues into the weekend…
