Driveway ‘parking’ law means Americans need 5-foot-tall fence outside their own homes – or risk repeat $500 fines

DRIVERS are now being forced to find new parking options for their vehicles in front of their own homes.

If caught doing so, drivers not only risk hefty fines, but also their accrual for each day the vehicle is illegally parked outside their homes.

The law focuses on commercial vehicles which are parked both on the street and on front or side yards.

If the vehicle is over 10,000 pounds, Californians in the city of Sanger will be explicitly forbidden from parking their vehicles on the street “except during the loading or unloading of freight” per the ordinance’s text…
