Lockdown lifted for Barrow County Schools after 3 campuses receive threats

ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) — A lockdown has been lifted for Barrow County Schools after multiple threats were made to individual campuses Wednesday morning, according to the local sheriff’s office.

The school system said it lifted its Hold and Secure status just before 10:30 a.m., after “law enforcement conducted a thorough sweep of campuses and determined threats were not credible.”
