Second suspect in 1992 killing of Rochester woman faces judge for first time

Rochester, N.Y. (WHAM) — The second suspect accused of killing 31-year-old Victoria Jobson more than three decades ago faced a judge Thursday in Monroe County Court.

“I’ve waited a lifetime for this,” Keisha Washington, Jobson’s daughter, said outside of the courtroom.

A grand jury indictment charging Arthur Jason Jr. of Conesus and an unidentified suspect with second-degree murder was unsealed Nov. 6, 2024 , more than 32 years after Jobson’s disappearance on Oct. 11, 1992, according to the Rochester Police Department. Jobson’s body was found with multiple stab wounds in a vacant lot on Rutter Street in Rochester nearly two months later…
