A routine traffic stop in Rochester led to felony weapon charges against a city man earlier this month.
New York State Police arrested a 23-year-old Rochester man on Jan. 16 after troopers stopped a vehicle on Portland Avenue near Dickinson Street for traffic violations.
Troopers identified the front-seat passenger as Eric Gevon Moye Jr. While speaking with him, they say they saw a handgun partially concealed in his jacket pocket. Troopers removed Moye from the vehicle without incident.
