WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) – Wilmington Terminal Railroad is one of several recipients of a $16.3 million contribution from the N.C. Department of Transportation’s Rail Division (NCDOT).
The NCDOT is investing funds to improve freight rail infrastructure throughout the state, upgrading more than 95 miles of railroad track and eight railroad bridges and culverts.
