There is a major development tonight in the ongoing lawsuit against Riverside County Animal Services. The Walter Clark Legal Group has filed a motion for a preliminary injunction, asking the court to immediately intervene while the broader case continues.The motion targets Riverside County Animal Services and former department director Aaron Geddes. Attorneys are requesting the court order the county to stop killing animals for space, provide proper medical treatment to animals in their care, halt the release of animals before they are spayed or neutered, and increase available kennel space.According to the legal team, the request was filed after learning that what they describe as inhumane practices have continued during the litigation process.
