Car crashes into Marlies Restaurant, popular spot to reopen Friday

BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) – A car crashed into Marlies Restaurant late Wednesday night, but the popular steak and seafood spot will reopen Friday thanks to an outpouring of support.

Surveillance video shows the driver missing a turn. The car flew off the road through fences and into the corner of the building. No one was hurt, but police said they are investigating the cause of the crash.
