Five-Year Prison Term Handed Down in Texas-to-Mexico Firearms Trafficking Scheme

A Royse City man has been sentenced to five years in federal prison for his role in a firearms trafficking operation, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Texas.

Abigael Colin Saldana, 28, a Mexican national living in the United States illegally, pleaded guilty to trafficking firearms and received a 60-month sentence from U.S. District Judge Amos L. Mazzant, III on January 21.
