Coxsackie pub switches focus to catering, repurposing space

COXSACKIE, N.Y. (NEWS10)– After 16 years, the Cask and Rasher in Coxsackie will be closing. However, owners Jocelyn and Jarrett Lane, say they will be rebranding the 245 Mansion Street location into a micro-event space, highlighting their Fire Candy Catering & Events business.

“This was not an easy decision,” The Lanes said.

The Lanes have owned and operated several hospitality businesses, including the Cask and Rasher, Storm King and Memphis Hustle BBQ. The two launched Fire Candy Catering & Events in 2016.

According to the owners, across each endeavor, their focus has stayed the same: “exceptional food, community and creating meaningful experiences.”…
