AUGUSTA, Ga. – A driver was revived early Wednesday after a single-vehicle crash sent a car into the front of a liquor store on Milledgeville Road, prompting lifesaving action by a Georgia State Patrol trooper, authorities said.
The crash occurred at about 12:30 a.m. Jan. 22 at 2423 Milledgeville Road, where a vehicle left the roadway and struck the front of King Wine and Spirits, according to the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office Traffic Division.
As deputies were being dispatched, Brandon Crawford of the Georgia State Patrol arrived on scene and found the driver unresponsive and not breathing. Crawford administered Narcan and began CPR.
