Indianapolis, Indiana – Travel across much of Indiana is expected to become increasingly dangerous this weekend as a powerful winter storm spreads heavy snow across the state, creating slick roads and reduced visibility through Sunday evening. The most significant impacts are expected late Saturday night into Sunday afternoon.
According to the National Weather Service in Indianapolis, Winter Storm Warnings are now in effect for a large portion of central, southern, and north-central Indiana. Snowfall totals of 7 to 10 inches are expected across central and southern counties, including Indianapolis, Bloomington, Terre Haute, Columbus, and Seymour. Farther north, including Lafayette, Kokomo, Anderson, Muncie, and Noblesville, totals of 5 to 7 inches are likely, with Randolph County potentially reaching 8 inches…
