In October, we reported that the tiny homes project hit a roadblock as the city had not received what they needed to finish the project.
At the time, Building Standards and Safety Bureau Chief Steve Yurkewicz said that former county executive, Brenton Davis, had not sent the necessary blueprints in order for the project get approved for permits.

Now that it’s been a few months, we spoke with officials to check on the status of the tiny homes project and plans for the project going forward.
“We’ve had a lot of conversations in the last couple of weeks, and just yesterday, per the final plans got to go to permitting at the city and BIU,” said Erie County Executive Christina Vogel.
