Allen County’s High-Tech Crime Unit finds new home at Purdue Fort Wayne

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WFFT) — The Allen County High-Tech Crime Unit has relocated to Purdue University Fort Wayne’s campus. Previously based at the Rousseau Centre in downtown Fort Wayne, the unit now operates from the Support Services Building next to the university’s police department.

The High-Tech Crime Unit, managed by the Allen County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office, supports digital evidence analysis for nine counties in northeast Indiana, including Allen, Adams, and DeKalb. Renovations to accommodate the unit began during the latter part of Purdue Fort Wayne’s fall semester…
