And if you’re feeling nostalgic about 2016, here’s what is no longer a thing of the past — Phuzz Phest being in hiatus. The popular music festival is coming back to the Twin City this spring. Watch local and regional musicians perform at various locations downtown. Past locations included spots like Krankies and the Millennium Event Center. Founder and Director Philip Pledger told WFDD the vision will stay the same: “putting the best of the city on display.” Discover new talents and rock out to various music genres. “There will be musical acts from a wide variety of genres, and we encourage attendees to check out bands at different venues throughout the weekend,” Pledger said. “It’s fun to explore the city while discovering new music.” The event began in 2011 and went on a pause due to funding and changes in local venues.
