PRICHARD, Ala. (WKRG) — A Prichard woman is facing a long road to recovery after she was hit by a car while working outside a gas station — a moment that was all caught on surveillance video.

Mo’Nique Fountain was sweeping outside the Texaco on Highway 45 about a month ago when a car suddenly struck her in the parking lot.
“I landed on my legs. And as I’m laying on my legs, I ain’t feel nothing, so my prayer was ‘Lord, I can’t feel my legs, this can’t be for me,’” said Fountain.
Fountain was rushed to the hospital. She says she now has serious injuries that will take months to heal…
