Northern Virginia delegate presents bill to ban license plates celebrating the Confederacy

RICHMOND, Va. — A Northern Virginia delegate has introduced a bill that would eliminate two license plates commemorating the Commonwealth’s Confederate history.

Dan Helmer, who represents District 10 in Fairfax County, presented House Bill 1344 earlier this week.
