Chicago Police Gang Investigators Seize $4.3 Million Worth Of Drugs

Police in Chicago say they recently wrapped a six-month investigation with the seizure of more than $4 million worth of narcotics and multiple firearms.

The Chicago Police Department said the investigation was focused on drug trafficking in the city and surrounding suburbs. On Jan. 10, a search warrant was executed at the residence of 36-year-old Travis Taylor, a convicted felon believed to be involved in the trafficking operation.

During the search by the department’s Gang Investigation Division, officers seized “various” suspected narcotics with a total estimated street value of $4.3 million, five firearms, and around $54,000 in cash…
