BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — A search warrant executed in Baton Rouge on Tuesday, Jan. 20, led to the arrest of a convicted felon on multiple drug charges.
Daitrean Butler, 24, of Baton Rouge, faces multiple charges, including:
- possession of drug paraphernalia
- illegal carrying of weapons with a controlled dangerous substance
- resisting an officer – refusal to give name or make identity known
- possession/distribution manufacturing Schedule I (marijuana)
- possession/distribution manufacturing Schedule II (cocaine)
- possession/distribution manufacturing Schedule II (fentanyl)
- possession/distribution manufacturing Schedule IV
- possession of Schedule II
- possession of firearm or carrying concealed weapon by a person convicted of certain felonies
According to an arrest report, two people ran out of the back door when the East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office executed the search warrant at a home on W. Garfield Street.
