Urban Beets Cafe & Juicery announced this afternoon on social media that it has decided to close its remaining cafe at 5091 W. Brown Deer Rd.
“Please note that our last day will be January 31st, ” the post read, “We intend on keeping regular hours until then, however if any changes are necessary we will provide updates on our Facebook. Thank you to everyone for being a part of this journey with us.”

A brief history
It was 2016 when Urban Beets opened its first location in 2016 on Martin Luther King Jr. Drive in Downtown Milwaukee. They were among the first venues to focus on healthful, plant-based options. In 2018, in response to customer demand, they expanded to include a second location in Wauwatosa. By 2020, they made the decision to close their Downtown location, opting instead to open their Brown Deer cafe in 2022…
