Killing of Domino’s driver in Algiers still unsolved nine years later

NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — Around 7:30 p.m. on Jan. 23, 2017, New Orleans Police Department officers found a man with multiple gunshot wounds in Algiers. Nine years later, the shooting remains unsolved. The case is the latest one to roll on the Wheel of Justice.

The victim was a delivery driver for Domino’s. He was identified as 49-year-old Michael County.

I-10 murder case remains unsolved four years later

The murder happened in the 900 block of Stratford Place. According to police, a black Chevrolet sedan pulled up and someone inside it opened fire. County was found lying in the street and died at the hospital.

For a while, there was a $25,000 Crimestoppers reward in the case. Then it was reduced to the normal amount for a homicide case, $2,500. Normally, Crimestoppers rewards are offered for two years…
