A winter storm watch will be in effect in the Baton Rouge area this weekend, from late Saturday night until Sunday at 6 p.m., the National Weather Service said Thursday morning.
Total ice accumulations of around 1/10 of an inch are expected with locally higher accumulations of up to ¼ inch possible.
