BOISE, Idaho — A lithium-ion battery in a discarded vape led to the deployment of the Boise Fire Department in a Treasure Valley parking lot Thursday morning.
Boise Fire on social media said the vape sparked a fire when compressed by a garbage truck. The trash pile had to be dumped into a parking lot so it could be extinguished.
