An elderly woman died from hypothermia during bitter cold temperatures in Lehigh County, Pennsylvania, officials confirmed.
The woman — who was in her 90s — was found outside on the back patio of her home in Lower Macungie Township, Pennsylvania, on Wednesday, Jan. 21, around 11 p.m. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
An autopsy that was completed on Friday, Jan. 23, revealed she died from hypothermia which complicated her multifactorial cardiovascular disease. Her death was ruled an accident.
