Prince William County officials said they are working closely with law enforcement partners and organizers of the “Walk for Peace” pilgrimage, a long-distance journey by Buddhist monks traveling on foot from Fort Worth to the nation’s capital.
The monks are expected to pass through Prince William County in early February, according to county officials, with police coordinating security, traffic management, and logistics as the group moves through the region.
