The Town of Weaverville is operating under the Buncombe County State of Emergency and town offices will be closed on Monday due to inclement weather. Monday’s sanitation routes will be rescheduled for Thursday, pending road conditions. We will continue to keep the community informed regarding the resumption of non-essential town services and the reopening of Town offices.
Today is the final day of clear weather to complete preparations. Forecasts have solidified that this weekend’s storm will be primarily an ice storm rather than a snow event, which represents a worst-case scenario for our area.
