VENICE, Fla. (WWSB) – It’s been nearly a year since an airliner and a U.S. Army helicopter collided over the Potomac River in Washington, D.C.
The crash killed 67 people aboard American Airlines Flight 5342, and three crewmembers in the Black Hawk helicopter on Jan. 29, 2025.
Christina Stovall of Venice lost her son and many of his friends in the crash. She told ABC7 her son Mikey was on his way back from a hunting trip, and she was texting him just hours before the crash…
