MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. (WCIV) — Ten officers with the Mount Pleasant Police Department were removed from their roles after an internal investigation discovered alleged cheating on the South Carolina Criminal Justice Academy test, according to a statement from the agency.
Police Chief Mark Arnold said the department launched an internal investigation after receiving information about possible cheating on the academy exam. That initial investigation resulted in the termination of two officers.
